Dubai Opens Three New 24/7 Beaches
Night swimming is allowed
Dubai expands its beach tourism with the opening of three new 24/7 beaches for night swimming.
With the goal of enhancing beach tourism and catering to the diverse needs of residents and visitors, the Dubai Municipality provides beaches that are accessible for swimming 24 hours a day.
Nestled along the shoreline, three immaculate 800-meter stretches of beach await at Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Suqeim 1.

Advanced lighting systems and digital screens have been installed to enhance the nighttime swimming experience,
Moreover, qualified rescue teams equipped with the latest equipment are stationed at these beaches, prioritizing the safety and security of all beachgoers.
Night swimming timelines at the beaches will be from sunset to sunrise, the municipality said.
The Dubai Municipality strives to ensure the utmost well-being and quality of life for all individuals. Their objective is to enhance Dubai’s global tourism standing, making the city more appealing and improving the daily quality of life.
“The new night-swimming beaches are part of Dubai Municipality’s efforts to contribute to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make the emirate the world’s best place to live and visit.” said Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality.
For the safety and enjoyment of nighttime beachgoers, the Dubai Municipality advises staying within designated zones of the ocean while visiting the beach.
It is important to exercise vigilance in keeping an eye on children and comply with all other beach rules and regulations as well.
By adhering to these guidelines, visitors can fully embrace the beach experience while ensuring a secure and pleasant environment for everyone.
Whether it’s a morning dip to start the day off right, a leisurely afternoon swim to beat the heat, or a midnight plunge, the beaches are now open round the clock, offering an unprecedented level of flexibility and enjoyment.
