Emirates to add more flights this summer to 8 destinations
The Airline expects busy season…
Emirates Airlines has exciting plans to expand its summer flights schedule with five cities. These includes London, Christchurch, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.
Renowned for its vast global network that spans across six continents, the airline provides seamless connectivity to millions of passengers every year.
The Dubai-based airline operates around 3,080 departure flights per week and more than 440 flights per day for passengers within its global network.
As travel demand improves following the lifting of pandemic-related travel restrictions, Emirates is expecting a busy season and plans to deploy a fleet of 85 A380s. This will increase to 95 during the peak season, to serve more routes.
According to Adnan Kazim (Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer) San Francisco, Singapore and Houston will also be added.
Emirates is considering adding more capacity to the North American and Chinese markets. So, if you’re planning on traveling to these destinations, Emirates Airlines could be the perfect choice for you.
Moreover, Emirates has teamed up with Etihad Airways to expand interline cooperation and boost tourism to the UAE.
This collaboration will allow customers to experience multiple destinations in a single itinerary. It’s a first-of-its-kind agreement that provides the flexibility of one-stop ticketing for customers’ entire journey and convenient baggage check-in.
Under the agreement passengers will be able to purchase a single ticket. This will allow inbound flight to either Dubai or Abu Dhabi, with an outbound flight from the other airport.
