The first-ever World Padel League is about to hit the city of Dubai!
If there’s one place in the world that has truly embraced the sport of padel, it’s none other than our very own Dubai.
Padel fever has swept through the city, and it’s become super popular here. So, it’s only fitting that Dubai has been chosen to host the inaugural tournament of the World Padel League.
The World Padel League comes from the same team that brought us the hugely successful World Tennis League in December.
Coca-Cola Arena will play host to this momentous occasion from June 8 to June 11.
Meet the players
Prepare to witness a fierce battle on the padel courts as the World Padel League brings together 24 of the biggest names in the sport. Divided into four teams – Jaguars, Panthers, Cheetahs, and Tigers
Among the star-studded lineup are Alejandra Salazar Bengoechea and Gemma Triay, both holding the prestigious title of being ranked number one in the world.
Joining them in the top ranks are Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría, both impressively ranked number three.
Agustín Tapia, ranked third in the men’s division, and Arturo Coello, securing the fourth spot.
Carlos Daniel Gutiérrez, currently holding the fifth position, will be showcasing his exceptional skills, while Beatriz Gonzalez and Marta Ortega, both ranked fifth in the women’s division, will undoubtedly leave their mark on the court.
The event will play host to four incredible performances
Shamma Hamdan
On June 8, we’ll be treated to a performance by the incredibly talented Emirati singer, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Shamma Hamdan.
This remarkable artist made history as the first Emirati woman to reach the finals of the widely acclaimed reality show, Arabs Got Talent.
On this special occasion, Shamma Hamdan is set to create a magical atmosphere with her powerful voice.

Simply Red
Then, on June 9, get ready for the long-awaited return of Simply Red after 20 years.

Nicky Romero
The stage will be set on fire on Friday, June 10 by none other than the incredible Nicky Romero.
Known for his electro house tracks, this Dutch DJ, producer, and electronic music sensation is all set to captivate his fans with a performance to remember.
He has a list of impressive collaborations including renowned artists like David Guetta and Avicii.

Mithoon
And to top it all off, on June 11, award-winning Bollywood composer Mithoon will take the stage.
He will be accompanied by a team of popular Bollywood singers including Javed Ali, Abhishek Nailwal, Asses Kaur, Vishal Mishra, and Mohammed Irfan.
